 Football Tournament

Rules

Game Administration:

1.       20-minute game time (Running Clock)

2.      (2) one minute time-outs per game. (Clock Stops)

3.                Warm-ups should be done before game time, but not on the game field.

4.                There will be a coin flip in the middle of the field prior to start of game. 

5.                 You must have 9 players on the field at game time or forfeit.

6.                Flags must be yellow and red only. (Please, No Pop flags)

7.       Home team is listed 2nd on schedule.  (Least Points Given Up for Championship game.)

Game Rules:

1.                  No kick-offs or punts.  Receiving team will take snap at their own 15yard line.

2.                Spinning is allowed. 

3.      There must be 5 men on the line of scrimmage on offense only.

4.      Any defensive penalty, that awards the offense an automatic 1st down.  The Offense will be awarded 1point.

5.                 All other rules governed by DSJCAL - Central Division rules.

6.                Points are given as:  6pt. -TD, 2-Safety, 1 or 2-PAT, 1-Each first down made.  (PAT Conversion)  3 yd. - 1 pt. & 10 yd - 2 pts.

7.       Players must hold up flags at the spot of the pull.  Players must hand pulled flag back to their opponent. 

8.      If a touchdown is scored passing 1 or 2 first down markers, the team will only receive 6 points for the touchdown.

8.      Mouth guards with straps or cut-off straps are NOT allowed.

9.      Jersey's must be tucked in at all times.  If it becomes a problem, teams will be penalized as if they are flag guarding.
